Girl Power

Look at all those cute GIRLS!!!  Here we are enjoying a cool popsicle on this 112 degree summer day.  We also had a fun time playing in our new blow-up pool.  Good thing for summer camp.

Water Sprinkler Fun

If only this picture came with sound...all their high-pitched screams and giggles today while playing in the sprinklers.  They also made a water sponge to toss around and have play water fights.  Isn't it fun to be a kid in the summer time?!

Summer Camp Begins

Today was our first day of summer camp.  We had fun learning about starfish.  Did you know they come in all different colors, they can grow their arm back if it falls off, they can have all different number of arms, it has tube feet under its arms, and they are bumpy...all of this we learned today.  Our favorite part of the day was probably the Slip-n-Slide!  Here's to a FUN summer!!

Farewell to 3s

Wow, where did the year go?  Today we said farewell to our 3s program.  We are all excited for Summer Camp and look forward to another great year next year as a 4 year old!  I am so proud of my little friends for all that they accomplished this past school year.  Thank you all so very much for my sweet gifts...you are ALL amazing (kiddos and their families).  Let's have a safe, fun summer!!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!!

Today we read Cinco de Mayo books to learn some facts about the holiday.  Then we made these cute little Mexican Flags.  Ask your child what they learned...I did, and they told me some very interesting facts (parades, colorful clothing, Mexican food, sombreros, to name a few)!!

A Visit to the Horse

Today we went over to Nanie's house to visit her horse, Jazz.  We had a great time learning about the behavior of a horse (what his ears can tell us), the parts of a horse (mane, tail, horse shoes, etc), how to brush him (using different types of brushes), how to feed him (two types of hay), and so much more...it was very informative and FUN for all of us!
