A Visit to the Horse

Today we went over to Nanie's house to visit her horse, Jazz.  We had a great time learning about the behavior of a horse (what his ears can tell us), the parts of a horse (mane, tail, horse shoes, etc), how to brush him (using different types of brushes), how to feed him (two types of hay), and so much more...it was very informative and FUN for all of us!

Hoppy Easter...From the Bunny

Today we had a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny.  We were in the middle of an egg hunt and she walked right into the backyard to join us...then she even hid some more eggs for us to find.  And since the Easter Bunny is so nice, she gave each of us our very own bubbles.  Happy Easter everyone!!

Spring is in the Air

Ready, set, GO!!  Just for fun, we had a little Easter Egg hunt...and as you can see from the picture the kids had so much fun.  What a beautiful Spring day. 

Field Trip to the Phoenix Zoo

Today we went on a field trip to the Phoenix Zoo...it's March so it was a beautiful, crowded day at the zoo! We got to see the giraffes, zebras, monkeys, and orangutans. And since it's Spring, no trip to the zoo would be complete without seeing some baby ducks. Thanks for a fun day at the zoo.

Dr. Seuss has a birthday coming up...it's March 2nd. Today we made a 'Cat in the Hat' to celebrate! On Wednesday we will each bring in our favorite Dr. Seuss book to share. Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss...thank you for all the many, many great books!!

Happy Valentine's Day!
