Spring is in the Air

Ready, set, GO!!  Just for fun, we had a little Easter Egg hunt...and as you can see from the picture the kids had so much fun.  What a beautiful Spring day. 

Field Trip to the Phoenix Zoo

Today we went on a field trip to the Phoenix Zoo...it's March so it was a beautiful, crowded day at the zoo! We got to see the giraffes, zebras, monkeys, and orangutans. And since it's Spring, no trip to the zoo would be complete without seeing some baby ducks. Thanks for a fun day at the zoo.

Dr. Seuss has a birthday coming up...it's March 2nd. Today we made a 'Cat in the Hat' to celebrate! On Wednesday we will each bring in our favorite Dr. Seuss book to share. Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss...thank you for all the many, many great books!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Fire Station #72

Today we went on a field trip to our local fire station. We got to see inside their station...where the firemen eat, sleep, workout, train, and of course their cool trucks. Then we headed over to the park for a picnic and some play time with our friends. Thank you moms for a fun field trip!

The Itsy-Bitsy Snowman

(sung to the tune of "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider")

The itsy-bitsy snowman was standing in the snow.

Down came some flakes--it made the snowman grow.

Out came the sun to shine its golden rays

Which warmed the little snowman and melted him away.
