Mini Field Trip to See the Horses

Today we went over to Nanie's house to visit our horse friends, Jazz and Willie. We had a fun time learning more about horse safety as well as how to take good care of a horse. We even gave Willie a bath and gave them both some cookies!Here we have Carly, Kaden, Paige, Kate, Michael and Mitchell hanging out by the hay for the horses.First, we enjoyed a picnic lunch...in the shade since it was so HOT!!! Ms. Jen's B-Day Party!!

Well, lucky me...I got to celebrate my birthday with lots of my little friends!! We had a yummy pizza lunch from #1 Brothers. And of course, some cupcakes made from Kate and Kenzie with Daddy's help. Michael brought a fabulous cake and cupcakes that he made with his family. Thank you very much for the nice little gifts too. I am one lucky teacher!!

A New Preschool Friend!

Today we had our new friend, Paige join us for our preschool. She will be coming on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are very excited to have a full group of girls and boys! And as you can tell from the picture, they are having a FUN time eating lunch together. Welcome, Paige!

Our Two New Friends!!

Kenzie, Mitchell, Carly, Kate, Kaden and Michael are welcoming our two new friends...look closely on the floor in front of the kids. Meet Simon James Alexander Ragsdale the Third (Kate's tortoise) and Myrtle (Kenzie's tortoise). Mr. Steve was so kind to bring them home today and at this point, we've decided to keep them as the newest members of the family...as long as our preschool friends are going to help take good care of them.

Here they are playing in the backyard after their first bath. Good luck trying to see who is who. Hint: Myrtle is smaller than Simon...barely! I hope our new friends bring many smiles to all of us!

Welcome Back To Preschool!!

Our school year is off to a great start. We have been having fun getting to know each other, learning the routines, playing with our friends, making friendship bread, enjoying arts and crafts and so much more. This year we have 3 girls and 3 boys...Kenzie, Ms. Jen, Michael, Kaden, Mitchell, Carly, and Kate (pictured above from top left). I am looking forward to all the fun and new things we are going to learn! Here's to a great school year!
