S is for Sock Puppet

Check out these adorable little sock puppets we made...wiggly eyes, ribbon ears, a button nose, spots, antennas, yarn hair, even a ribbon tongue. The kids put on their puppets and had little puppet shows with each other...very cute.

The Itsy-Bitsy Snowman

Today we made these adorable snowmen for our art project. We then learned a song called "The Itsy-Bitsy Snowman" (sung to the tune of Itsy-Bitsy Spider). It goes like this:

The Itsy-Bitsy Snowman was standing in the snow.

Down came some flakes--it made the snowman grow.

Out came the sun to shine its golden rays.

Which warmed the little snowman and melted him away.

The kids can sing it to you along with some fun little motions that go with it...just ask them!
